The miniaturisation and the performance of today’s PCBs requires  the integration of other design functions (e.g. CTE control, impedance matching). The DYCONEX engineering group provides design support  to facilitate the optimum combination of design and manufacturing technologies.

We offer a variety of services designed to address the specific issues of you’re application. Interconnect substrates used in medical applications are concerned with ionic contamination which can affect the reliability of the final product.  Our ionic chromatography equipment allows us to make a precise determination of  ions and weak acids. 

The mechanical performance of flexible as well as rigid PCBs presents a number of design challenges that are addressed with the help of mathematical-modelling software using finite element analysis methods (FEA). The DYCONEX thermal management simulation utilizes FEA  tools to assist in determining the optimal heat dissipation and low CTE in a high performance PCB. 

The calculations of mechanical resonance frequency, CTE control, high or low operating temperatures are based on generic data collected in vibration testing and accelerated ageing tests. These test services are offered to our customers to verify and qualify product performance.
